Teather & Greenwood Landsbanki and Bridgewell become Landsbanki Securities (UK)
On 9 August 2007, Landsbanki completed the acquisition of Bridgewell Group plc. Bridgewell's investment banking operations have been merged with Teather & Greenwood Landsbanki to create Landsbanki Securities (UK) Ltd.
Operating under the Landsbanki brand, the new entity, in parallel with Landsbanki´s existing London operation, creates an integrated UK investment bank operating in the small and mid-cap UK market, offering a full range of financial services to its clients.

Landsbanki London Branch is an established debt arranger, arranging bilateral, club deals and syndications across cash flow, asset based and trade finance. The bank is an active participant and sub-underwriter in the leverage market across Europe. The lending operations between London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Reykjavik are fully aligned and supported through regional offices in Manchester and Birmingham.

Landsbanki Securities (UK) Limited offers comprehensive investment banking services through its London operations and teams up with other Landsbanki offices in Europe to give clients access to local professionals and services in brokerage, research, advisory and corporate finance.
Landsbanki Securities (UK) Limited is also an active broker in the equity markets and offers sales and trading services. Corporate advisory teams in London work across Europe, US and Canada, teaming up with local Landsbanki teams to provide the best service to clients.
Deposits
Landsbanki London Branch has enjoyed a very successful entry into the UK retail deposit market with the launch of Icesave in 2006. The bank is also established in the wholesale deposit market in London and Amsterdam, providing quotes for GBP, EUR and USD deposits in these markets through local money brokers.
