The London Branch was established in March 2005 with the aim of providing full service investment and corporate banking services to small and mid-sized companies.
The branch's main focus is lending, deposit taking, fixed income trading and derivatives trading and marketing. The Branch office is located in the City, on the same floor as Landsbanki Securities (UK) Limitied, sharing many resources across two groups. Regional offices have been opened in Manchester and Birmingham to further service the client base outside London.
Landsbanki Amsterdam branch
The Amsterdam Branch offers corporate lending and deposit taking services.
The Amsterdam office works closely with the London Branch to provide comprehensive coverage of the leverage market in Europe, both for participations in syndicated loans and for arranging deals. Landsbanki now covers all of the Western European loan market through its two offices in Amsterdam and in London, as well as through Corporate Banking in Reykjavík.

Landsbanki covers Corporate Lending, Deposit taking, Fixed-Income trading and Derivatives business through its operations in London, Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
Full Service to small and mid market clients
The London Branch is an established debt arranger within asset backed and cash flow lending, arranging bilateral, club deals and syndications and the branch is a consistent sub-underwriter and participant in the leverage market, mainly across Europe. The lending operations between London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Reykjavik are fully aligned.
The bank can provide a full investment banking service alongside its debt financing through its subsidiary Landsbanki Securities (UK) Limited.
The Fixed Income Unit has recently been established to trade on the bank's behalf in international bond markets. It will operate a sales business servicing to other institutional investors, recommending bonds of relative value in the world of corporate bonds, through to financial structured products. London will be the hub of Landsbanki's bond operations outside of Iceland.
The Capital Market Products Unit is a new extention of Landsbanki's investment banking offering and the main focus is structuring, marketing and servicing derivative and structured products to Landsbanki's corporate clients.
The London branch entered the wholesale deposit market in 2005 and followed the success of that with a retail deposit programme which is marketed in the UK as Icesave.
