Our research team comprises 24 analysts covering around 300 companies across 12 sectors. Within the Extel UK Small Cap Survey 2007 our analysts were ranked in 9 sectors, in 4 of which the analyst was in the top 5.
The team focuses on predominantly mid market companies within these sectors: capital goods; financials; mining; house builders; infrastructure; life sciences; logistics; media; real estate; support services; and technology.
Our approach is to avoid maintenance research and to focus on industry themes and in-depth forensic analysis, within which comparative research and analytical consistency are important.
The individual analysts work closely with the sales, sales-trading and trading teams and several of the sectors have dedicated specialist sales support; this ensures our research is focused and commercial, whilst retaining objectivity.
